About FlickTales

FlickTales is an audiobook and story-listening service for your phone. One login unlocks every book: classic novels, fairy tales, fables and adventure stories in English, plus a growing shelf of Arabic classics such as Kalila wa Dimna and the Thousand and One Nights, narrated in Arabic.

Where the stories come from

Every English title is a public-domain work read by LibriVox volunteers and hosted from the Internet Archive. Arabic texts are public-domain editions from Arabic Wikisource and are narrated in-house. Each book page links to its source text and recording. Cover art is original.

How listening works

The first chapter of every book is free. Logging in with your mobile number unlocks all chapters. Your place in each book is remembered on this device, so you can pick up where you stopped, and the player keeps running while you browse.
